Thanksgiving began at lunch with our first-ever pie bake off. It was steep competition between the sweet-potato and pumpkin pies, with the latter winning. What a delicious contest! We’ll welcome the contestants back again next year!
Thanksgiving evening was shared with friends at a local restaurant. Shorel roughly translated the Thanksgiving story. It was a great time of eating, laughing, singing, reading inspirational words and giving thanks. We felt so abundantly blessed.
