Bamboo Canyon Hike

On 6/14, we went on a beautiful hike with friends to a local bamboo canyon. Locals say this canyon has fourteen varieties of bamboo. I’m not sure I saw 14 varieties (or even 2 for that matter) but it was a refreshing time.

These beverages and cucumbers were chilled with river water. In China, cucumbers are munched on much like we would eat an apple.

At the end of the hike, was a beautiful waterfall.

Schäfer was happy to get out of the Ergo and spend some time throwing rocks into the water.

Once Papa touched the horse, Schäfer was nervous, but willing.

Way beautiful photos! Glad y’all had a good time! Did Schäfer actually eat that spicy potato?
Thanks for the ice cream recipe… I will have to try that one day. (After all the baby weight is off that is!)
