As we gather our thoughts and prepare for our upcoming American adventure one thing is certain: in all of our days here – we’ve never once craved an Oreo.
Why crave what is so readily available?

Hummm…these Oreos seemed to be placed in a strategic spot.

Chocolate covered Oreo wafers.

OK, if we’re going to highlight a flavor: Mint Oreos would take the prize.
Other flavors available: original, chocolate cream, and half chocolate/half peanut butter cream.

Chocolate covered Oreo cookies.

Oreo wafers without the chocolate covering.

And if there wasn’t enough Oreos on the cookie aisle, surely this display case can meet any further Oreo needs.
Alas, why waste calories on Oreos when there’s big soft ginger cookies or Mimi’s dishpan cookies or oatmeal raisin cookies or…

Wow. That’s a whole lotta oreos there. I love how organized the store is (and clean!).
I hear you though – I didn’t eat at a single place that we have here while I was in the states. My rule was, if I could get it here, I didn’t want it there!
I do like Oreos (Rhett LOVES them), but I agree, I’d rather use my sweets calories on things of the homemade variety.
Ok, now I am confused. You have more varieties of Oreo at your market in China than I do here near Boston… I would never have guessed that! (And I am glad, as my oldest son would want to try nearly all of those…)
Those blue packages, that blue shirt. and those blue eyes…what a symphony in blue!!!!!! nanamaw
