We arrived back from Ft. Smith just in time to eat a bite and head to Papaw’s work. Even though he was on vacation, he couldn’t wait to give us a tour of the plant.

Schäfer loved all the fork lifts.

After the plant and a little grocery shopping at Wal-Mart (because in the wilderness you get extra hungry) we dropped by Aunt Martha’s. Schäfer loved her “pea-nano.”

He needed his jacket off so he could play better. “Schäfer play pea-nano.”

At this point, I believe he’s playing Rachmaninoff.

Thank you Aunt Martha for the wonderful chili and cornbread.

And then we were back in the wilderness. While there, Papaw taught Schäfer about the importance of jelly.

Schäfer loved playing the wind chime.

There were so many rocks from which to jump.

There was much hauling of leaves and rocks.

And breakfast was generally a 2 hour affair. Yes, I believe our son is a Hobbit.

I love these photos–especially the ones on the piano–so sweet!
