Everyday (weather permitting), we go outside and hang out with our friends by the Lotus Pond.
As the neighbors pass by they say, “Oh! Class is in. The Little Kindergarten is open.” There are many snacks shared, balls chased, songs sung, and a lot of running by all involved.
Occasionally, an item is forever lost to The Lotus Pond – though Hubs does try to retrieve whatever is still floating by the time he returns home.
These are carefree days.
The negotiation.
The agreement.
The switch-a-roo.
He loves a hat.
The dawning of the bicycle.
Is it time to get Schäfer a bicycle?

We can not pass by one of these “rides” without Schäfer asking me for money. Thank goodness I truly never have money on me.

I love his fancy tricycle! I thought ours was fancy – but that one tops it all! He looked so big on that bicycle!!!
The tricycle and the bike belong to other kids. So far, I can’t commit to carrying transportation up and down 5 flights of stairs.
