
So I was needing some powdered sugar for icing, but there was none in the house. And even more fun than that – there is none in this city. I KNOW! That’s 1.4 million people who manage to survive on a day-to-day basis without icing as we know it.
And then Hubs recalled reading this tip:
sugar + blender = powdered sugar
Voilà!



Um, hello… perfect timing. I was about to head to the nearby city in search of powered sugar. No longer! I have a blender – and food processor – I will indeed be making my own!
Oh – one thing I did on previous occasions for powdered sugar was to buy it from a local bakery. The only problem is theirs is usually really hard. But once you mush it down it works.
