The other day, Schäfer came across his froggy hat. I thought it was too small, but he said “It’s not too tight.”
He’s been looking at a small photo album which contains this photo from his first Halloween. He’s been begging me to get the rest of the froggy outfit down for him. Now that things are returning to normal around the house, I think I’ll try to find it this week.

Ribbit! Let’s go to the store! Ribbit!

And in keeping with our froggy theme, we found Schäfer some house slippers. He’s gotten pretty good about taking his shoes off or asking for them to be taken off when he comes in the door.

In China, house slippers are the norm.
Schäfer did so well at the store. Hubs and I talked about it and agreed that the previous store where he had his Valentines Day meltdown has music blaring and constant announcements regarding sale items, but today’s store was rather quiet.
We decided to get him a little Winnie the Pooh cookie treat in honor of his good behavior.
Schäfer loved getting a special cookie treat.
And frankly, I loved giving it to him.
It seems like we’ve come a long way since Valentine’s Day.
