Or trying to, at least. I will also confess that I am so jealous of your blueberries! Yesterday we found fresh blueberries only for the second time in our city, they were 25 kuai for a half pint but don't you know that I bought a bunch anyway...we may never see them again! Previously I had seen them for 88 kuai and couldn't do that. Do you think you could transport your friend and his farm up to us? And while you're at it, throw in some basil? Ha! By the way, the cheapest I ever got cherries this season was 10 kuai for a jin, usually more like 12. But I thought that was pretty good! We surely enjoyed them! They are just about finished now. I'm sorry for all the drama with S having to stay in BJ for so long...and you holding down the home front. I know you're glad to have him back! Hope you guys are hanging in there and finding ways to beat the heat! I never knew how a lack of AC could make us all so cranky until last week, when we were without it for a few days.
