For the entire month of December, we’ve been painstakingly researching the perfect cup of hot chocolate. It was a delicious adventure.
We finally found a recipe that works for us. Not too sweet. Not too chocolaty. With a lingering a hint of fresh milk.
Combine:
2 tablespoons cocoa
3 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
Add and stir well:
4 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Heat mixture in a pot until hot.
makes 4 cups
“Mommy, may I have some more hot chocolate please?”
