Flying like a Hot Steam Bird

I promise today felt like January 1st. My days are still so out of order because we had Schäfer’s party after his birthday.

Today was a day of rest. Hubs took down the tree and star. I started packing all the decorations into one large plastic box. Even thought I passed along several items, my Christmas box is still quite full.

This morning, Schäfer crawled into our warm bed and said, “I’m a bee and I want to sting you!”

This afternoon, he kicked his legs on the chair and said, “I’m a little nut brown hair.”

Books are activating his imagination!

Late afternoon, we went to the Children’s Park to play on the bungee jump. Schäfer has been wanting to do this for such a long time. We were finally there when it was open.
