Sunny Days

02.22 – 02.23.10

02.22.10

This morning Schäfer wanted to get out the “road race”.

Sianna enjoyed watching him zoom cars up and down the track.

These days, Schäfer requests a manchego cheese sandwich for lunch.

Sianna enjoys pumpkin and carrots, but her favorite by far is cauliflower. Sometimes, she smacks her lips when she sees our food, but bless her heart she still doesn’t have any teeth.

Schäfer has been growing non-stop. As far as his clothes go, we’re hoping “making it work” through the spring. Or we might stop nutrition…

Yuan Ye came back from visiting his Grandma.

Boys being boys.

Schäfer shows Yuan Ye his new trick.

Schäfer loves to borrow other kids “bikes with pedals”.

He can still zoom faster on his pedal less bike, but it is getting too small for him. I can’t believe we bought this a year ago!

All boy.

We can’t get enough of this perfect 65 degree weather.

This morning we met Rong Rong at the Children’s Park for 2 hours of jumping on the big trampoline.  Of course, there were many a snack break.

This afternoon, Sianna reached for her favorite Octopus during tummy time.

Schäfer and Yuan Ye traded bikes for the afternoon.

Yes, he’s obsessed with his new trick.

Fearless.

Lately, things have been so challenging with Schäfer. He’s gone to a new phase of toddlerhood. This new phase has moved the parenting books back on my bedside table. I think the best thing for us has been this warm weather!

Yay for sunny days! What is this elabortely amazing “road race” that Schafer is playing with? I know another little man who would love to play with something like that!

    • Girl, the road race was handed down to us from friends whose son is now in high school. I guess they finally decided he was tired of playing with it. HA! I have no clue what brand it is. I do like that it all fits in a large zip-lock bag.
