04.23 – 04.25
On Friday afternoon, we hoped on the train to Nanchang. Hubs had some work to do. The kids and I were excited to be traveling with him.

Sianna loves to play with my face or hands during milk time.

Schäfer loves to travel because he gets to watch Thomas on the iPod. Except this trip he asked to watch Little People over and over. I was excited about this change because we put Little People on the iPod in Chinese so he was getting language exposure + entertainment. (We might add Thomas in Chinese next trip.)

I love snuggling with my baby girl.

This weekend we celebrated 3 months with Sianna! In honor of this milestone and the fact that we were in Nanchang, we went back to the Gloria Grand hotel lobby to take photos.

When we met Sianna on 01.24.10, she had just turned 8 months old.

Sianna is now 11 months old! What a difference three months can make!

Even on day 1, she loved to be lifted into the air. This was her first smile.

Now she loves to be tossed into the air.

From day 1, Schäfer couldn’t wait to hold his Mei Mei.

When we were leaving Nanchang, we had some leftover Papa John’s. It was too much to throw away.
Me: It’s not hot outside. I bet we can carry that home on the train.
Hubs: The worst thing that will happen is we’ll get sick for three days from food poisoning.
Me: It’s worth a try.
Having a Papa John’s box in our home was so abnormal. (In our city, there is no Pizza Hut or Papa John’s.) I asked Hubs to go outside and act like a delivery man.

I loved how Schäfer answered the door and accepted the pizza so naturally – as if we’ve ever had a pizza delivered!
We enjoyed every single bite of this pizza and thankfully suffered no side effects.

Oh my–the pizza delivery is so funny! Love it! Very thankful for no food poisoning!

Love the pictures. So neat to see how she's changed and how much more expressive she is.
