The day after Sianna’s birthday, we took the kids downtown to play at a Jump Zone. After 8 weeks of living here, this was our first time to go to an indoor play area in Jiujiang.
Schäfer was so happy they had a coconut tree just like Play Zone in Yichang.
He’s a spinning coconut master.
Sianna mostly handed balls to me – with the expectation that I would hand them back. She crawled about four times here and Hubs was able to see it. The balls were good motivation to getting her to move.
Love her.

Hubs and Schäfer prepare monster pancakes for our Sunday Brunch. Monster pancakes are super sized pancakes for people with a monster size appetite.

Well, the mosquitoes attacked us. We didn’t even realize it was mosquito season until after the kids were eaten alive. Hubs put up the giraffe tent for Schäfer. He was so excited about having a big giraffe in his room. He begged me to let him go outside and “get a branch” so he could feed the giraffe. The next day, Hubs and Schäfer made a paper branch which satisfied the giraffe quite nicely.
At this point, Sianna has no interest in the two baby dolls she got for her birthday – although I think she’s already torn apart the hair on the doll Hubs and I gave her. What interest her? Tools! This girl loves a level.
Don’t even get me started on her passion for holding a hammer.
