Sianna is generally pretty happy. (Well, now that we know those things which can set her off.)
One of the things that Sianna does not like is any kind of rough handling or pain.
Enter teething.

This was the scene at our house the entire second week in May. Sianna had two bottom teeth cutting through. Nothing offered relief: Cold snacks were tossed on the floor. Teething rings were rejected. Baby Oragel offered little assistance.

She was in pain.
She was annoyed.
She only wanted to be held while she screamed.
After offering the teething ring for the 835th time (I am persistent if nothing else), I realized that the ring was actually too big for her petite mouth. In search for anything for her to chew on, I grabbed a pacifier.
We offered passies to Sianna when we first met her, but she wasn’t interested. After all, she’d lived 8months without one. Well, this week she chewed and chewed on a passie.
I was thankful to find something to stop the screaming.
And now back to snuggling.
Of course, the laundy is not done, it’s sandwiches again for lunch and supper and the house is a wreck, but my baby is held.
