After the kids woke up from their afternoon naps, we headed to town in search of a little Children’s Day fun.

I think the kids look so Arkansan in this photo!
Schäfer insisted on wearing his “pig shirt”. He’s so interested in selecting his own clothing and he’s especially interested in changing clothes numerous times through out the day. (Schäfer’s hair still has quite a bit of gel in it from this morning’s performance.)

Once downtown, we went on the lake for a little boat ride.

Schäfer insisted on bringing his camera and documented our memories along the way.

After the boat ride, we decided to check out the zoo.

Let’s just say that the zoo could use a make-over. Schäfer nor I took many photos.

We don’t do McDonalds very often, but out of convenience we ended up there tonight… it was late… the kids were hungry… they have food. We ordered Schäfer a hamburger, but he and Sianna only ate the bread. Neither of them wanted any of that scientifically enhanced meat. For that matter, neither Hubs nor I ate much meat either. The banana pie was a big hit.

Schäfer had an ice cream which Sianna tried to grab.
After stopping at Walmart for a few supplies, we headed home tired, but thankful to be living this life together.
Happy Children’s Day Schäfer and Sianna!

Love Schafer’s little camera… I have been telling Mike that for Christmas Shauna needs one of those
Take care
I LOVED this!
