As you enter the door…

The hallway is straight ahead. The kitchen is to the left. The living room is on the right.

On the left is our dining room.

Just off the dining room is the kitchen complete with glass wall. I was afraid of this glass wall for a while but after someone ran into it at full speed during a party, I felt like it was OK. It does let alot of light into an otherwise dark hall.

I LOVE the orange cabinets. Serious.

This is the smallest kitchen we’ve ever rented.  I made it work… mostly by using our kitchen table as a work space.

Opposite the dining room is the living room. It’s all one big open space. This is the landlord’s couch. It’s one of those big “L” shaped couches, but I reconfigured it.

Here are our books and a small gallery of art + photos.

Off the living room is our utility room. This space gets alot of use.

We also have a deep sink which is great for washing our paint brushes or mud off our shoes, etc.

We’re going to walk down the hall. On the left is the kids bathroom and the kids bedroom.

We thought about changing out the potty situation here, but decided it would be nice for guests to have options. I’m glad that we didn’t go through the drama of changing out the potty since we only lived here for one year.

The kids bathroom had Xi Yang Yang tiles. Super fun.

Down the hall on the left is the kids bedroom. I finally painted the kids bedroom.

Across the hall is our master bedroom. The TV belongs to the landlord. We never even used it once because Selah slept in here.

We brought our bathtub from the other apartment.

The view from our bathroom window: our landlord’s junk.

There’s one final room in our tour: the office. (This photo is from before we moved in.) Unfortunately, the office became a place to store a lot of stuff so I never took a photo of it. But the back door does open up…

There’s a dangerous little slope that leads out to the garden.

Here’s the view before we moved in. This spring, Hubs spent considerable time Getting the Garden Ready.

This was taken before we moved in and looked just the same when we left.
