Nothing says Thanksgiving like slathering whipped cream on top of pie.
This box of goodness can go either way. Add vinegar and you’ve got sour cream. Add vanilla + sugar and you’ve got whipped cream.
DIRECTIONS
Combine:
2 Tablespoons powdered sugar (regular works in a bind)
1/2 tsp vanilla (optional, still tastes great without)
1 cup whipping cream
Stir until you reach the desired consistency.
Note: A hand beater or immersion blender with the whisk attachment also works well. Blend until peaks form. Do not over whip otherwise it starts to turn into butter.
Yum! That is dessert to me! I got busy doing other kitchen tasks and let the KitchenAid over whip mine…it looked more like butter but still tasted ok! 🙂
