On Saturday morning, I made bagels for the first time.
Wow.
They were good.
And the amazing factor was: they looked and tasted just like bagels! For me, that combination doesn’t always come the first time I try a recipe.

Blueberry’s are causing spontaneous moments of great joy in our household. This muffin recipe works with any fruit. We’ve also tried it with cherries. (I think the cinnamon-sugar topping is too much, but Hubs and Schäfer love it.)

1/3 cup hot water
2/3 cup honey
6 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup sliced almonds
3/4 cup chopped pecans (cashews)
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
