20 weeks down. 20 to go.

Recently, I was congratulated on “not blogging in order to focus on my family.” Unfortunately, this is not the case.

I took a pause from blogging so that I could nap.

A lot.

I was sleeping almost 3 hours each afternoon and then putting the kids back in bed at 6:30pm with an audiobook so that I could go to bed at 7pm.

Hello baby #4.

You are borrowing all my energy and brain cells.

Today, informed me that I am 20 weeks pregnant and I have 20 weeks remaining in this pregnancy.

Good gravy. I had no clue I was 5 months pregnant. Of course, I knew my due date, but the time is passing so quickly.ย  It seems like it took years for Schรคfer and Selah to make their debut. Now I’m wondering if #4 would like to stay in utero for an extra month or so.

I could use the time.

Since babies can’t read calendars, it’s safe to say that in early April Baby #4 will come to join our family.

As Schรคfer screamed when we told him, “Then we will be 6!”

  • Woo hoo! I was wondering if this was the case, since we hadn’t heard from you in so long. Miss the updates of your sweet family. Take care of yourself – may you have many willing hands to help you. xoxo

Congratulations! That makes it worthwhile not seeing your wonderful blogs every day. Give Schafer the camera so he can take pictures for you so we can see how much everyone has grown. ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow! Baby #4!!! Congratulations! ๐Ÿ™‚ I was wondering how you all were doing, since I only know via your blog. It’s wonderful read a new post! I really enjoy your blog, especially since our girls are so close in age and I relate to what you’re going through so much!

You have been in my prayers and every now and then you’re on my heart so I’ll stop in the middle of the day or night to pray provision, peace, favor, and swift language learning over you and your household! I look forward to hearing more about your new region when (if) blogging becomes a part of your life again.

How exciting to welcome another child! I pray you will continue to have the time to rest and will start regaining more energy now that you’re well into trimester 2! Blessing to you all, and may you have a wonderful, truly thankful Thanksgiving!

  • Congratulations! That’s quite a gift AND an primo excuse for not blogging. After three it’s all gravy….Thanks for sharing the news.

Such wonderful news. Now I know how to focus my thoughts! Once you have conquered balancing 2 kids it becomes much easier in managing kids but sleep is a distant dream for many until the kids are sleeping through the night. I have been playing catchup on all of my lost sleep over the last 7 years these last few months. And the electronic/digital world can be quite the interrupter of sleep/family focus. You have often been on my mind and like many have stated we have wondered how you are, how the new home transition has gone, how homeschooling is going, etc. Wish there were like buttons for comments like FB!

  • Christina Machuca
